Virginia M. Benham Worley Chupp 83, of Zionsville, died November 19, 2007. Virginia was born January 16, 1924 in Indianapolis, Indiana to the late Jacob Lewis and Pearl Elizabeth Collins Benham. She was also preceded in death by her husbands, Walter Merrill Worley & Nathan Chupp, her brother, Robert E. Benham, and her sister, Mildred Corzetto. Virginia was a 1941 graduate of Arsenal Technical High School. She worked for 13 years in administration for American United Life and was a rural postal carrier in Zionsville for several years. Virginia was a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution, Zeta Beta Chi sorority, and the German Shepherd Dog Club of Indiana. Mrs. Chupp is survived by her children, Raymond Chupp, Barbara Hamke, Shirley Wachlin, Carolynne Bare, and Marolynne Hammond, her sister, Joan Guinn, 23 grandchildren, and numerous great-grandchildren. Visitation will be from 4-8 pm, Friday, November 23, 2007 at Flanner & Buchanan Funeral Center, Zionsville. A funeral service will be held 11 am Saturday, November 24, 2007 at the funeral center. Burial will follow the service at Washington Park East Cemetery, Indianapolis. Memorial contributions may be made to World Gospel Missions, ATTN Dr. Michael Chupp-Medical Missionary, Tenwek Hospital Kenya, P.O. Box 948, Marion, Indiana 46952.
