Harriet Susan Ramage (21 December 1827-13 May 1902) was a daughter of Jesse Ramage of Laurens County, South Carolina.

Harriet Susan Ramage (21 December 1827-13 May 1902) married John Thedford Prather (28 December 1815-10 October 1902) and settled in what is now Lee County, Mississippi in 1846. The children of John Thedford and Harriet Susan Ramage Prather included: Leonidas Caroni "Lee" Prather (16 September 1846-29 July 1929) married America Mack Allen (15 April 1852-5 November 1929) on 11 February 1874 in Prentiss County, Mississippi; Nancy T. "Nannie" Prather (26 January 1850-26 August 1948) married Pinkney Green Hardin (1 May 1838-19 September 1923) on 6 December 1866 in Tippah County, Mississippi; Susan Ophelia Prather (3 February 1852-27 February 1944) married Thomas Lafayette Wesson (29 November 1848-20 July 1930) on 9 December 1869 in Tippah County, Mississippi; Caroline Ephemia Prather (17 October 1853-20 July 1942) married Moses Oliver "Monk" Chism (19 July 1853-11 December 1917) on 2 March 1870; Margaret A. Prather (21 February 1855-17 July 1861); Harriet Eminine Prather (28 January 1857-3 October 1946) married John Grissom McElroy (26 October 1852-16 May 1935) on 26 November 1873; and Malinda A. Prather (30 January 1860-26 August 1861).

Harriett Susan Ramage Prather had another child that is not listed in the Memorial... I am not sure the exact name but she was listed in the 1850 Census and not in the 1860 Census Her name would have been Frances J/ Frances T/ Franie or Franey ... I could not tell on the Census but looked more like a Franie or Franey to me... but listed as Frances...

It also shows that Frances S and Nancy T Prater (Prather) were both born in Missouri but they would have actually been born in Mississippi ... so hope to find a death cert of other info on this child that is not listed in Find a Grave Memorial...
