The former Marian Supanich was born on July 14, 1920 in Calumet a daughter of the late Joseph Supanich and Anna Supanich.
She attended and graduated from the Calumet High School.
On June 26, 1945 she was married to Paul Waarala and he preceded her in death on February 5, 2001.
Marian enjoyed spending time with her grand children and great grandchildren.
She also enjoyed spending time at the camp in Bootjack.
Preceding her in death were her parents, husband, 2 sons: Thomas and Daniel,
1 sister Ann and 3 brothers: Joseph, Frank and Rudolph.
Surviving were:
Grandchildren: Melanie (Curtice) Squires of Eaton Rapids, MI
Eric Waarala of Laurium
Great Grandchildren: Fox and Cambria Squires
Numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
