He was a retired law enforcement officer, Crawford County sheriff for four years, justice of the peace for 16 years, a World War I veteran and member of the Church of Christ.
Funeral was held at 10 a. m. Tuesday at Ocker Memorial Chapel. Burial was at Gill Cemetery under the direction of Ocker Funeral Home.
Survivors include his wife, Nona Moore; a daughter Ruth Marie of Van Buren, two sisters, Sarah and Vada, both of Van Buren; and a brother, Sid of Van Buren.
