Mrs. Alice R. Anderson, 67, 5319 Route 14, Harvard, died Wednesday, March 3, in Harvard Memorial Hospital. She was born March 5, 1914, in Chicago, the daughter of Peter and Mable Hansen Berg, who preceded her in death. She was raised by foster parents, Mr. and Mrs. Andrew Ringheim, who also preceded her in death. On July 22, 1935, in Belvidere, she married Arnt Anderson, who survives. Mrs. Anderson was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church and Stateline Fellowship. In addition to her husband she is survived by three sons, Dean, Springfield, Paul, Belvidere, and Colin, Rockford; eight grandchildren; and a sister, Mrs. Rosella Jurgens, Capron. Services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday in Trinity Lutheran Church with the Revs. Charles E. Steinke and Timothy L. Anderson officiating. Burial will be in Mount Auburn cemetery. A memorial fund has been established.
