Daniel Callen was the son of William Callen and wife Lydia Schaeffer. He married (1) Cecelia L. Dygert December 31, 1874. After her death in 1902, he married Effigene Tompkins Morehead. They married January 7, 1906, and were married just over 31 years when she died. Mr. Callen was a retired farmer living in the Riviera community almost 20 years at his death. He leaves a community of friends and neighbors to mourn the loss of this fine man.
