Barbara J. Gahan Reid died Thursday, Oct. 27, in Norman following a battle with cancer. Private services will be at Memorial Park Cemetery. Demuth Funeral Home in Oklahoma City is handling arrangements.
Mrs. Reid was born July 16, 1931, in Blackwell, to Newton and Margaret Adelia Gatliff Gahan.
She was preceded in death by her husband Archer Reid and her parents.
Mrs. Reid is survived by her brother Raymond P. Gahan and wife Thelma of Oklahoma City; sister Judy Adkins of Norman; and many cousins, nieces and nephews.
