Memorial services for William S. "Bill" Murry, 81, of Norman will be 3:00 PM, Friday, February 13, 2009, in the Chapel of Primrose Funeral Service. Mr. Murry was born June 14, 1927, in Cyril, OK, the son of Nathaniel S. and Cleo Hazel (Miller) Murry. He passed away February 8, 2009 in Oklahoma City. Bill was a Navy Corpsman in World War II and retired from Tinker Air Force Base after 28 years of service. Bill had a passion for all things bowhunting and most of his time and efforts were spent to promote and develop bowhunting as a sport everyone could enjoy. He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Edith Murry daughters, Donna Moore and Barbara Baldwin two sisters, Ruth Donnell and Yvonne Murry three brothers, Oliver, Richard and Ronald Murry and six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and daughter, Patricia McKenzie.
