Chandler resident Chester "KY" Aldridge died Saturday, Feb. 7 at Transcendent Healthcare in Boonville. He was 74.

Chester retired from Amax Coal Mine.

He is survived by four children, Jenettie Payne of Boonville and Rose, Paul and James Aldridge, all of Chandler; 10 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; a sister, Reba Snodgrass of Louisville, Ky.; and two brothers, Frankie Aldridge of Louisville, Ky., and Bennie Aldridge of Sullivan.

Funeral services were held Tuesday, Feb. 10 at Koehler Funeral Home-Perigo Chapel in Chandler. Burial was held Wednesday, Feb. 11 at Miller Cemetery in Cleaton, Ky.

Edward Strange

Former Boonville resident Edward Alan "Al" Strange died of cancer on Friday, Feb. 6. He was 63.

Al was Director of Facilities for BAE Systems in Sealy, Texas, where he lived for the past several years. He was a retired U.S. Army Master Sergeant.











He was preceded in death by his parents, Andy J. Strange and Hallie Marie (Risley) Strange; and a brother, Jerry.

Al is survived by his wife of 43 years, Bonita; two daughters, Lisa Wilson and Leah M. Arnold; a son, Edward A. Strange II; eight grandchildren; two brothers, Donald Strange and William Strange; and two sisters, Betty Clark and Lois Strange.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, Feb. 14 at 2 p.m. at Koehler Funeral Home-Boonville Chapel. Friends may call Friday, Feb. 13 from 2 to 8 p.m. and on Saturday, Feb. 14 from noon until service time. Henneke Funeral Home in Columbus, Texas, handled visitation in Texas.
