Michael Brent Ramsey was born November 28, 1968, at Crawford, Nebraska. He was the son of Floyd E. "Gene" and Mary Anne (Perkins) Ramsey. In 1973 Mike moved with his family from Crawford, Nebraska to Ottawa, in Franklin County, Kansas, where he made his home until his death Wednesday, November 19, 2003, at the age of thirty-four years.

Mike graduated from Ottawa High School with the class of 1987.

He was presently working in the family business, Ramsey Printing, as a dark room technician.

Mike was a member of Westminster Presbyterian Church and Aerie Lodge #2700, Fraternal Order of Eagles, both of Ottawa, and the Williamsburg Wildlife Association.

Fishing, vacations to the Lake of the Ozarks and the company of family and friends were the things Mike enjoyed most. For the last six years, his constant buddy was his dog, "Sunny". He also enjoyed visiting with Ramsey Printing customers when he made deliveries. The center of Mike's life for the last three years was his daughter, Michaela, whom he loved very much.

He is survived by his parents, Gene and Anne Ramsey, of Ottawa; a daughter, Michaela Forrer, of the home; two sisters, Marcia Gentry of Alma, Kansas and Jo Peterson of Salina, Kansas; a brother, Kent Ramsey and his wife, Bonnie, of Ottawa; an aunt, Ila Cox, of Wichita, Kansas; three nieces and two nephews.

SERVICES: Family and friends will meet at Highland Cemetery at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, November 25, 2003, for graveside inurnment services.

OFFICIANTS: Rev. Henry A. Roberts, Jr., and Rev. Kent Mathews.

CEMETERY: Highland Cemetery, Ottawa, Kansas.
