John Burrell Dead
John Burrell died at his home in the town of Tuscarora, yesterday afternoon. He has been in poor health for some time, but his death was unexpected resulting from sudden heart failure. He leaves a wife and three children.
The funeral: will probably be held Saturday.

John Burrell was the son of Nathan and Harriet Cole Burrell. He was the husband of Celia Brewer Burrell.
John and Celia Burrell had three children.

Ella Burrell Redner
James Burrell
Sylvester Burrell
John died of a heart attack brought on by his chronic nephritis.
John died the same day his sister Catherine Burrell Allen died. Catherines body was brought to Tuscarora, NY from Geneva, NY to be viewed along with Johns body at his home. John and Catherine are buried together in Woods Corners Cemetery, also known now as Addison Hill Cemetery.
The following was written in the Addison Advertiser about John Burrell and his sister Catherine Burrell Allen:
The bodies of John Burrell and his sister, Mrs. Catherine Allen, were buried side by side in the Woods Corners Cemetery, Saturday. Burrell died at his home in Tuscarora Thursday and his sister was killed at Geneva, the same day, being crushed to death beneath a lumber pile, which was blown over as she was walking along side of it. Her remains were taken to Tuscarora and the double funeral was held from the brothers home. Burial being held at Wood's Corners as stated above.
