MOUNT HOLLY - Betty Jean Beaty Rinehardt, 80, went home to be with the Lord on Feb. 8, 2009, after a long courageous battle with congestive heart failure at the Robin Johnson Hospice House in Dallas.

She was born Dec. 29, 1928, daughter of the late Ed and Mary George Beaty.

She was wife of the late Fred Rinehardt Jr.

Survivors include her daughter, Wanda Dellinger and husband Harvey of Stanley; one granddaughter, Leah Bryant and her husband Jason and one great-grandson, Luke Bryant of Dallas; two brothers, Everette Beaty and his wife Hilda of Char-lotte and Frank Beaty and his wife Pat of Mount Holly; numerous nieces and nephews and special friend, Bessie Langley.

She was preceded in death by three sisters, Clara Flowers, Elizabeth Price and infant sister, Ruth Naomi Beaty.

A graduate of Belmont High School, she worked 50 years for Acme Spinning Company, later becoming Parkdale Mills. She was a member of Goshen Free Will Baptist Church in Mount Holly. She was a loving mother, sister, grandmother and great-grandmother and will be dearly missed.

A service to celebrate the life of Mrs. Rinehardt will be held 2 p.m. Wednesday at Woodlawn Funeral Home in Mount Holly with the Rev. William Calvert and Dr. Robert Wensil officiating. Interment will be at Gaston Memorial Park in Gastonia.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.

The family would like to offer a very loving thank you to all the wonderful staff at Robin Johnson House, they truly are Angels.
