in Corfu, Gennesse County New York.

3. Thomas was married to his first wife
Jane Gates (the daughter of
William Gates and his wife Jane Rice),
on Feb. 2, 1793, in
Conway, Franklin County Massachusetts.

In the "Annals of Tisbury" MA,
Thomas Cathcart is listed as a licenced
inn-keeper from 1726 to 1730.
