Emma Lee Clark Huneycutt, 84, 40741 Ridenhour Road, died Saturday (Aug. 25, 2001) at Stanly Manor.

Born July 12, 1917, in Anson County, Mrs. Huneycutt, a daughter of the late William Henry and Esther Rebecca Clark Huneycutt.

Her husband, Eddie Ervin Huneycutt, died April 20, 1988. A daughter, Alice Ruth Huneycutt, also preceded her in death.

Survivors include sons Ted Huneycutt, Misenheimer, Melvin Huneycutt, Richfield, and William Huneycutt, Albemarle; daughters Betty H. Vanhoy, Richfield, Evelyn H. Chance, Albemarle, and Esther H. Aldridge, Oakboro; 15 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.

She was a member of Cottonville Baptist Church, Norwood, and was retired from Wiscassett Mill Co.

Services: 3 p.m. Tuesday, Stanly Funeral Home chapel, Albemarle, conducted by the Rev.Reese Linnell and the Rev. Claude Burleson. Burial, Cottonville Baptist Church cemetery, Norwood.

Visitation: 6-8 tonight at the funeral home. At other times, the family will be at the home of Betty H. Vanhoy, 40727 Ridenhour Road.
