Funeral service for Randle E. Lee, 69, of Winnsboro will be held at 2PM Tuesday, February 10, 2009 in the chapel of Gill First National Funeral Home in Winnsboro. Interment will follow in Fort Necessity Cemetery with Rev. Buford Brady officiating. Visitation will be Monday from 5-9 PM at the funeral home.
Mr. Lee was born to Harmon Henry and Callie Ophelia Barfield Lee on January 21, 1940 in Winnsboro and passed from this life Sunday, February 8, 2008 in St. Francis Medical Center in Monroe.

He was a retired engineer with Louisiana Highway Department. He enjoyed fishing and spending time with his grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; two brother James and Lionell Lee; and a sister Gertrude Johnson.

He is survived by his wife of 47 years Clara Scriber lee of Winnsboro; daughter Chris Southern and husband Phillip of Winnsboro; two grandchildren Hannah and Drake Southern; two sisters Agnes Johnson of Monroe and Helen LaBorde of West Monroe; and several other relatives and friends.

Pallbearers will be Phil Lowentritt, Perry Parker, Larry Temple, and Hollis Weatherly. Honorary pallbearers will be Chris Duke, Rex Mahaffey, and Melvin Montgomery.
