Solomon James Wagner, 2nd wife Emily Jane (McCowan) Wagner and family - including some of their children's spouses and their children. You will see some have been identified with their names with some helpful photo ID by L.J. Wagner who lives in Blanco, TX, however, not all are identified on this large family group photo. Solomon is seated at the far left, and seated next to him is his 2nd wife Emily Jane (McCowan) Wagner. Emily Jane (McCowan) Wagner who was the mother of 14 of the 18 children that Solomon fathered with his two wives. (Solomon's first wife, Margaret "Peggy" (McKelvey) Wagner had the first 4 children before she passed away.) Please Double-Click on photo to view full size and read names more easily. Thank you, James Chester Wagner, great-grandson of Solomon James Wagner and Emily Jane (McCowan) Wagner, son of Wyley Daniel Solomon Wagner and Caroline Ellen "Callie" (Egger) Wagner.

Solomon James Wagner and his 2nd wife, Emily Jane (McCowan) Wagner with 9 of the 18 children. Solomon's 1st wife was Margaret "Peggy" McKelvey and they had 4 children before Peggy died. He married 2nd Wife, Emily Jane McCowan in Hays County, Texas and they had 14 children born of their marriage.
