-1855, D. P. Aldrich bought land on Section 17, to which he moved in 1856.

D. P. Aldrich is listed as Justice of the Peace in Berlin Twp in 1867,1875, and 1879.

-Director of Schools in Berlin twp. 1880 for Dist. 10, and Township Supervisor 1877-1880.

James Udell [Udall] on Section 18 of Berlin Twp. abt 1853-54. D. P. Aldrich purchased land in Sec. 17 in 1855, Alanson Youngs was on Sec 17 in 1854, while Isaac Austin was on Sec. 16 , to which Wm Sible also came in 1857. John W. Young settled in 1837.
