ACKER ~ Walter Acker of 942 Heights Boulevard died in a Houston hospital at 6 a. m. Friday. Survivors are his wife, Mrs. Annie Acker; one son, Lieut. Walter Acker of Camp Beale, Calif.; one stepson, William E. Manley, chief boatswain's mate in the United Stated navy, one sister, Mrs. Weta Knowles of California and one brother, Lamar Acker of Louisiana.
Burial will be in Hollywood cemetery.
