Mrs. Pearl Shackelford Richardson of Irisburg and widow of James A. Richardson, Sr. died suddenly yesterday morning in her home.
She was a daughter of the late William G. Shackelford and Martha Richardson Shackelford.
Mrs. Richardson was married twice; first to Reamey Semple in January 1900 who died the same year, and to Mr. Richardson in 1906.
Surviving are two sons, James A. Richardson, Jr. of the home and George S. Richardson, Richmond; a daughter, Miss Frances Richardson, Martinsville; one stepson, Charles H. Richardson, Baltimore, Md. and a stepdaughter, Mrs. Louis Ferrell, South Hill.
Burial in Oakwood Cemetery.
