Darwin B. Bayliff, 49, 240 E. 4050 South, was dead on arrival at a Salt Lake hospital July 19 of natural causes. Born Dec. 11, 1916, Archer, Idaho, to Albert and Althea Briggs Bayliff. Married Elizabeth (Betty) Cota March 12, 1954, Nevada. Supervisor, Kennecott Copper Corp. 22 years. Member American Legion, Salt Lake Post No. 112.
Survivors: widow; daughters, Mrs. Gloria Greig, by a former marriage, Longview, Wash.; Terri, Salt Lake City; stepsons, daughter, Leo Higley, Carol Guay, both Salt Lake City; Jon Guay, Searchlight, Nev.; three grandchildren; parents, Salt Lake City; brothers, sisters, Melvin, Mrs. Genevieve Morris, both Ogden; Albert, Mrs. Afton Anderson, both Los Angeles; Elmain, Logan.
Funeral Friday 1 p.m., Millcreek Sixth LDS Ward Chapel, 3305 S. Main. Friends call 372 E. 1st South, Thursday 7-9 p.m., at ward chapel Friday one hour prior to services. Burial Redwood Memorial Estates.
