Maria Wickman
Services were held at the Anderson Funeral home on Tuesday, July 3, for Mrs. Maria Wickman, former Odell resident, who passed away July 1 at Walla Walla, Wn. The Rev. A.J. Maas officiated. Internment was at Idlewilde cemetery.
Mrs. Wickman was born on April 29, 1868, in Finland and had been a resident of the Odell district for 34 years before moving to Milton-Freewater with her daughters, Mrs. Irene Benson. Her husband preceded her in death in 1938.
Survivors include: Daughters, Mrs. Benson and Mrs. Esther Gray, Washington,D.C.; son, John R. Wickman, Bremerton, Wn., sister, Ella Peterson, Albiejoe, La.; brothers, Victor and Nels Nlyund, Minneapolis, Minn.; six grandchildren and one great grandchild.
