David Franklin Jenkins died Sunday at 3:30 a.m. in a Roosevelt Hospital following a lingering illness. He was born June 20, 1893 in Vernal, a son of David and Lydia Ann Beckstead Jenkins. He married Mable Harrison, November 21, 1911 in Vernal and was a rancher and farmer in Uintah County for many years. He is a member of the LDS church. Mr. Jenkins is survived by his widow five sons and four daughters, Francis Lou, Rex, Merl, David, Pearl, Reva, Earl, Jack, and Frank Jenkins. 34 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Burial is in the Lapoint, Utah cemetery.
