He is survived by his loving wife Lillian of 62 years and his four children Ann Rodgers, Susan Weaver, Laura Weaver, John K. Weaver, Jr., eight grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren; brother Burton and sisters Beverly, Joyce, and Dorris, and many friends.
A Korean and World War II Navy veteran of 27 years, John began his career as a Seaman and retired as a Lieutenant Commander.
A military service will be held at the Igo Veterans Cemetery in Igo, CA on Friday, February 27th at 12:45 pm. A motorcade will leave Lawn Crest Chapel at 11:30 a.m. for those interested in attending the service.
A wake will be held following services at the Weaver home located at 11385 Easy St., Redding, CA.
