He was born Nov. 27, 1951, in Elgin, the son of Alfred E. and Alice E. Shields Skibbe.
Survivors include his parents, Bettendorf; and a brother, Chris M. Skibbe, a sister, Cathy A. Skibbe, a grandmother, Mary Ann Anderson, and a nephew, Steven Skibbe, all of Davenport.
