From the Obit of William Clouse:

William Cedric Clouse, son of William Edward Clouse and the late Ethel Manning Clouse was born Feb 21,1901 at Irondale, Missouri, and departed this life on May 22,1938 at the Bonne Terra Hospital (Hard to read hospital name) where he was taken the same day. The body was moved to the Hood Undertaking Establishment in Flat River, where it remained until burial on Monday at 2pm. The funeral services were conducted there by Reverend James (Hard to read again) Hutson of Flat River. Internment was in the Christian Cemetary in Fredricktown.

Mr. Clouse lived at Flat River and had been ill for about a year of a complication of diseases. He was united in marriage to Mollie Elizabeth Walker June 13, 1927 in Fredricktown. Surviving are his wife, his father and the following five children Fern, Douglas, Monte, Shirley and Clifton, all at home. He leaves a brother Chester Clouse of Fredricktown, two half-brothers Edward and Alvin Clouse at home, one sister Mrs. Lillie Hale of Fredricktown, a half-sister Dorothy Smith of Libertyville and an aunt Mrs. Cora (hard to read) Mayo of Kansas City.
