She was a daughter of the late William H. and Mary Etta Pratt Plum. She is survived by her husband James M. Akers; one son and two daughters, James Monroe Akers, LulaBell and Linda Akers, all at home; three brothers, George Plum of Independence, Bertus Plum of Tunnelton and Edward Plum of Kingwood; two sisters, Mrs. Lula B. Tanner of Shinnston and Mrs. Flossie M. Bowmar of Tunnelton. Interment in Shay's Chapel Cemetery.
