Services have been set for Billy M. Aldridge, 78, of Monroe, who died at 9:05 p.m. Tuesday at Mercy Memorial Hospital, where he had been since July 20. He had been seriously ill for a month. Friends may call from 5 to 9 p.m. today and from 1 to 8 p.m. Friday at Bacarella Funeral Home, where services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday. The Rev. Alfred R. Whittaker, pastor of Victory Temple Church of God, will officiate. Burial will be in Roselawn Memorial Park, LaSalle, under the auspices of Monroe Post 1138, Veterans of Foreign Wars. Born Sept. 5, 1925, in Wood County, Ohio, he was the son of Calvin and Truda (Kiger) Aldridge. He married Janice O'Dell Sept. 1, 1962, in Monroe. Surviving are his wife; four sons, Michael W. of Glennie, Billy M. II (Linda) of Gibraltar and Lonny E. and Ricky A., both of Monroe; a daughter, Connie (Kenneth) Goins of Monroe; a sister, Norma (Richard) Pinchoff of Monroe; 12 grandchildren, and 15 great-grandchildren.
