Ronald R Hensley, 77, Osage City, died April 9, 2005, at a Topeka hospital. He was born Aug 26, 1927, in Great Falls, Mont., to Tom and Mary Strauch Hensley. He graduated from LeRoy High School in 1946, he then attended Peck's Beauty Academy in Emporia.

He was the owner and operator of Ronald's Beauty Salon in Osage City for 50 years.

He was a member of the Osage City United Methodist Church and was a member of the Kansas and National Cosmetologist Association.

He married Carolyn Bourne on June 24, 1950, in Topeka. She survives of the home.

Other survivors include two sons, Bruce and his wife Cheryl, Osage City; and Todd and his wife, Connie, Reading; two sisters, Lorraine Rexroad, Phoenix; and Yvonne Settlemeyer, Colony; a half-brother, Tom Ensley, Topeka; a half-sister, Sue Eck, Kingmamn; two granddaughters, Rhonda Sapp and Nicole Senft; and three great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by twin daughters, Shez and Shelly.

Services were Tuesday, April 12 at the Osage City United Methodist Church. Interment was in Osage City Cemetery.

Memorials may be made to the Methodist Church Elevator Fund or the Osage County Senior Citizens Center and sent in care of Feltner Funeral Home, PO Box 160, Lyndon, Kan 66451.
