Bertha Davidson Sugg, 71, died Wednesday, June 25, 1997, at Webster Health Services in Eupora. She was born in Calhoun County on Dec. 30, 1925. She was a member of Walthall Baptist Church and was a homemaker.
Services will be at 2 p.m. today at the Oliver Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Willie Weddle and the Rev. Doug Pepper officiating. Burial will be in the North Union Cemetery in Bellefontaine.
Survivors include her husband, Sam K. Sugg of Eupora; one daughter, Laura Sugg Pepper of Eupora; five sisters, Mildred Blocker of Livingston, La., Earlene Harper of Lacombe, La., Ola Cutrer of Roseland, La., Verlon Howard of St. Francisville, La., and Jane Bennett of Amite, La.; one grandson, Wesley Pepper.
