Mirilda K. Cook Dugger

Mirilda K. Dugger, age 75, 740 Bunker Hill Rd., Bluff City died Friday, February 25, 2005 in Johnson City Medical Center Hospital following an extended illness.

A native of Carter County, she was a daughter of the late Clayton and Coy Alice Black Cook.

Mrs. Dugger was a member of Walnut Grove Baptist Church. She was retired from Bristol Jeans Company.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Dugger was preceded in death by her husband, Edward Dugger, one daughter, Diane Perry, one son, Johnny Dugger, one grandson, Johnny Hicks, three sisters, Bertha Estep, Viola Huffman, Opal Davenport and two brothers, J. C. Cook and Richard Cook.

Survivors are five daughters and sons-in-law, Jo Ann and Gene Smith, Bluff City, Debbie and Bert Carden, Elizabethton, Shelby and Albert David Street, Johnson City, Kathy and Clab Greene, Newland, NC, Lisa and Randy Ellis, Elizabethton, one son, Kenneth Dugger, Bluff City, seventeen grandchildren, sixteen great-grandchildren, one brother, Charlie Cook, VA and special friend Connie Cook, Bluff City. Several nieces and nephews also survive.

Interment will follow in the Sunrise Cemetery.
