Former South Caldwell Street resident Corrine Elizabeth Loving of Paris Manor Nursing Center, 86, died at 6:50 PM Saturday, June 24, 1995, at Henry County Medical Center.
The funeral is scheduled at 11 AM Tuesday at McEvoy Funeral Home. The Rev. Jerry McCaskey of First Christian Church, where she was a member, will officiate. Burial will be in the Paris City Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 4-7 PM today.
Born in Paris March 20, 1909, she was a daughter of the late Noah and Shelley Butterworth Brisendine. She was married in April 1939 to James Crawford Loving, who died Feb. 26, 1990. A past president of the American Legion Auxiliary, she was formerly active with Girl Scouts. She was employed with the Golden Peacock Co. and worked with the Capital Theater, both formerly of Paris.
She is survived by two sons, Kenneth Loving of Canoga Park, Calif., and Bob Dixon of Altona, Ill.; eight grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
She also was preceded in death by three sisters, including Valice Fite and Charlene Irvine; and three brothers, Fred and Harvey Brisendine and another who died at age 9.
