The bio below indicates that Anise Hull who md John Yeager, Sr was the granddaughter of Peter Hull. If her date of birth is correct it is unlikely she was a granddaughter but was instead a daughter. The book source of the transcription below is known to have errors. Reknown certified genealogist, Mary Harter, was a self-appointed genealogist for Pendleton Co, VA/WV and published 2 books of marriage records. She wrote two letters outlining detailed information on the family of Peter Thomas Hull, copies of which are in my possession. Phyllis Hughes, certified genealogist of many years for the Hull Family Association has been invaluable in providing information helping to unravel the confusion in this line.

JOHN YEAGER, SENIOR.
"……For well nigh a hundred years the Yeager name has been a familiar one. The Yeager relationship derive their name from John Yeager, an immigrant from Pennsylvania, reared near Lancaster City. From the most authentic information available for these notes, he first located in Crabbottom. Upon his marriage with Anise Hull, a granddaughter of Peter Hull, one of the original settlers of the Crabbottom section, they settled at Travelers Repose, where Peter D. Yeager now resides……."
