Martha Triebwasser Mayer Hein, 81, of Lodi died Sunday in a local convalescent hospital following a short illness. She was born June 6, 1908 in Lincoln Valley, N Dakota and moved to Lodi in 1922.
Mrs. Hein is survived by daughter, Marion Mayer Clark of Sacramento; son, Richard W. Mayer of Lodi; brother, Samuel Triebwasser of N Dakota; and five grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
There will be no services or visitation. There will be a private internment at Cherokee Memorial Park Cemetery. Gierhart-Wells and Donahue Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Samuel Hein, 79, of Acampo, died Friday evening in a local hospital after a brief illness.
He was a native of Tampa, Kan., and came to Lodi in 1928. He became a vineyardist and retired in 1975. He and his wife, Martha Hein, moved to Clear Lake.
The couple returned to this area in December 1982.
He was a member of the Loyal Order of Moose Lodge No. 634 of Lodi and the Lodi Farm Bureau.
Mr. Hein was preceded in death by three brothers.
Mr. Hein is survived by his wife, Martha Hein of Acampo, his son Richard Mayer of Lodi; his daughter Marion Clark of Sacramento; his sister Ella Ebel of Lodi; five grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
According to Mr. Hein's request no funeral services will be held. Cremation will take place Tuesday and Mr. Hein's ashes will be scattered at sea. Friends may call at Gierhart & Wells Funeral Home until 8pm today. Memorial contributions in his name may be made to the charity of the donor's choice.
