His wife was Marion Harley--No grave beside Laadan for her.

Son, Joseph Melville "Mell" Brooker married & moved to Richmond, VA according to Cecil Lawrence Greene. Also found him on the 1900 VA Census. Listed as Joseph Mell Brooker--Class of 1894-- in the Sixth Decennial Catalog by Chi Psi 1902. Mell was married to Mary V b. 1878 VA. Mary may have been daughter of Arthur Spitzer & Virginia.
(On 1920 Census--Henrico Co, VA, Mell & his wife were living with Nancy La Touche & Mattie Spitzer, Mary's sisters. Mattie was single.)
