Victor Winkels, 62, died Sunday at St. Olaf Hospital.
A resident of Adams, he is survived by his wife, Ida; daughter and son-in-law, Mary and Irving (Craig) Applen, Rochester; two grandchildren; six brothers, Roman, and William Winkels Jr., Adams, Herman Winkels, Hawley, Minn., Ben Winkels, Austin, Kenneth Winkels, Chester, Iowa, George Winkels, Harvard, Ill.; six sister, Sister Marcella Winkels, Milwaukee, Wis., Mrs. Jerome (Marie) Ehler, Harmony, Minn., Mrs. Ronald (Viola) Muenzhuber, Minneapolis, Mrs. Paul (Ardella) Krysan, Cresco, Iowa, Mrs. Ronald (Philomena) VonLohmann, Carson City, Nev., Mrs. Gerald (Nita), Gadient, Goodhue, Minn.; aunts; one uncle; nieces, nephews; cousins.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday.

WINKELS – Funeral services for Victor Winkels, Adams, will be held 1 p.m. Wednesday, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Adams, Rev. Robert Herman officiating. Interment will be in Sacred Heart Cemetery, with Adams American Legion Post 146 in charge of military rites. Friends may call at the Adams Funeral Home, Adams, from 3 to 9 p.m. Tuesday, until 12:30 p.m. Wednesday. Rosary services will be at 4, 7, and 8 p.m. Tuesday.
