Marjorie M. Tipple Kolometz, 80, of Newark, went to be with her Lord and Savior at 3:53 p.m. Tuesday July 4, 2006 at the Newark Health Care Center. She was born May 24, 1926 in Byesville, Ohio, the daughter of the late David and Mary Belle Cox Tipple. Marjorie was a retired registered nurse, a graduate of the Good Samaritan School of Nursing and a member of the Good Samaritan Alummi Association, a member of the American Cancer Society and a Girl Scout Leader and Camp Nurse. She was a long time member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.

Surviving are two daughters, Andrea (John) Mateer of Orange Park, FL. and Robin Bagley of Bonita Springs, FL., a son David (Sharon) Kolometz of Newark, Ohio, two brothers, Willard Tipple of Byesville and Earl Tipple of Dorset, Oh., a nephew, Robert (Donnelle) Bookless of Cumberland, Ohio. who grew up in the home, seven grandchildren, three great grandchildren, two step grandsons and two step great- granddaughters.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Elizabeth Korte and Edith Dunn and three brothers, David Smallshaw, Roy Tipple and Harry Tipple.

Friends may call 2 to 4 & 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, July 6, 2006 at the Bolin-Dierkes Funeral Home, 1271 Blue Ave., Zanesville. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Friday, July 7, 2006 at the funeral home with Bishop Lyle Clark officiating. Burial will follow in Hanover Cemetery, Hanover Ohio.
