Funeral service for Edward Rogina, 67, was held Friday at 2:00 p.m. at the Peet Chapel. Mr. Rogina died at the Natrona County Memorial Hospital February 19.

The Rev. Fred Bolinger of the First Baptist Church conducted the service with Russell Olmsted singing "In the Garden" and "Beyond the Sunset." Mr A. F. DeCastro was the organist. Burial was in the Lusk Cemetery.

Casket bearers were L. T. Bonner, Dick Pfister, Howard Freeman, Roger Bonsell, Roy Shimek and Willard Frye.

Edward Otto Rogina was born April 27, 1905 to Mathew Frank and Cecilia Lieb Rogina in Gregory County, Bonesteel, S.D.

He moved with his parents to Niobrara County, near Keeline around 1910. Later he was engaged in farming and served in the Arny in World War II from March 31, 1942 until October 25, 1945. After his discharge he was engaged in carpenter work.

Mr. Rogina married Selma DeSersa November 15, 1959. The couple had one son and two daughters.

Survivors include his wife; children, Eugene, Evelyn and Carolyn of the family home and seven step-children, Mrs. Tim (Nina) Achenbach, Sheridan, Mrs Richard (Delores) Hoeck, Lusk, Selmer DeSersa, Lusk, Mrs. Robert (Arlene) Burdick, Mrs. Clinton (Kathy) Brown, Big Springs, Neb., Miss Doris DeSersa, Lusk, Miss Elizabeth DeSersa, Lusk, two sisters Mrs. Agnes Brosnahan, Oregon City, Oregon; Mrs. Albert (Bertha) Metal, Bonesteel, S. D.; one half sister, Mrs. Ed (Rose) Lyons, Bakersfield, Calif.; two brothers, Frank Rogina, Manila, Utah, and John Rogina, Baoroil; one half brother, Andrew Crowley, Lusk, and four grandchildren.
