Union Hill - Mr. W. G. Harmon, 81, of Union Hill, died Friday, February 5, at East Alabama Medical Center in Opelika.
Funeral services were held on Sunday, February 7, at 3:00 p.m. at Pleasant Grove Christian Church in Union Hill with Rev. E. G. Clark and Rev. Larry Crook officiating. Burial followed in Macedonia Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery at Marcoot.
Mr. Harmon is survived by two sons, Grady Harmon and Ken Harmon, both of Union Hill; three sisters, Jewel Foster of Valley, Thelma Childers of Union Hill, and Virginia Spring of Davis, CA; one brother, Roy Harmon of Union Hill; six grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
Born November 14, 1911, in Chambers County, Mr. Harmon was a Mason and a farmer.
Sanders Funeral Home in LaFayette handled the arrangements.
