Wife of Carl Everett Amsberry of Mason City, Custer County, Nebraska; married on 15 February 1913 in Aurora, Hamilton County, Nebraska.

"Viola Pearl Amsberry, 77, of 939 Highland Drive, died early Wednesday morning in a local hospital.
Mrs. Amsberry was born on February 8th, 1897, in Lincoln, Nebraska and was married to Carl Amsberry in Aurora, Nebraska on February 15th, 1913. They resided in Nebraska for a short time, moving to Wenatchee about 1929, where he was employed by the Wenatchee World for about one year. They moved to Seattle, where he died in 1961, and two years later she returned to Wenatchee.
She was a member of Wenatchee Valley Baptist Church.
Surviving are one daughter, Verla Rae Salley, Wenatchee; four sisters, Mrs. Lucille Adams and Mrs. Hazel Gable, both of East Wenatchee; Mrs. Lorraine Marklund, Renton and Mrs. Winifred Pardue, Denver, Colorado; five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Carl, in 1961 and by one son.
