Karl J. Henrikson was born in 1873 in Sweden. He arrived in American in 1881 at the age of 8. He was the son of Lars Johan (Louis J.) and Anna (nee Oleson) Henrikson. He died as a result of an accidental gunshot wound. He had leaned a rifle against a tree and it fell causing it to discharge, striking the poor young lad. This happened at the family farm a mile east on Sippy Road from Custer Road/Fern
