Mrs. Julia Paulson

Mrs. Julia Paulson died at 3:30 Monday afternoon at her home, 607 Euclid Street, following a stroke that morning.

Julia Lien was born April 7, 1867, in Clayton Country, Iowa. She was married to Martin T. Paulson in Marion, Iowa. They continued to reside in Iowa until 1915 when they moved to Austin, which was their home until their deaths, Mr. Paulson passing away in 1933.

Ten children were born to Mr. and Mrs. Paulson, two of whom preceded their mother in death, Alma, in 1920 and Frances, in 1930.

Those surviving are: Mrs. W. J. Roberts, Menahga; Leon M. Paulson, Cedar Rapids, Iowa; Mrs. A. L. Hogan, Alvin O. Paulson and Mrs. Harvey E. Patten, Austin; Mrs. Frank C. Kennett, Bloomfield, N. Y., and Mrs. Tony G. Safranek and Ollien R. Paulson of Austin. There are also 14 grandchildren. One sister survives, Mrs. Laura Simenstad of Fargo, No. D.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 o'clock Thursday afternoon at the Mayer Funeral Home, the Rev. Henry Noss of St. Olaf Lutheran Church officiating. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery.
