Esther Lorene "Granny" Herrman, 73, a homemaker, died Sept. 25, 1994, at a local hospital. Mrs. Herrman was born Nov. 11, 1920, in Kenton, Okla., to Martin V. Wilson and Stella M. Johnson.

A graveside service will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Fairview Cemetery, 1000 S. 26th St., with William Baynes officiating. Blunt Mortuary, 2229 W. Colorado Ave., is handling arrangements. A memorial gathering will be held at noon Wednesday at Holiday Inn North, Fillmore Street and Interstate 25.

She was married to Jake Herrman, who died in 1969. Her first husband, Theodore Wilson, died in 1944.

Mrs. Herrman is survived by three daughters, Carolyn Ruyle of Colorado Springs, Shirley Sullivan of Las Vegas and Kathy Jeffers of El Toro, Calif.; a twin sister, Hester Mattox of Manitou Springs, and another sister, Estelene Garrison of Fairfield, Calif.; a brother, Martin Wilson of Moses Lake, Wash.; six grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.

Mrs. Herrman had lived in the area for most of her life and was a member of the Eagles Lodge.

Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 1445 N. Union Blvd., Suite B100, Colorado Springs 80909.
