Mrs. Oda L. Wilson, 80, a resident of the Fresno area since 1906, died yesterday in her home at 444 Valeria Avenue. She had been ill the last two months.
She was born in Curryville, Mo., and came with her husband, the late Thomas Wilson, to California.
They ranched in the Lone Star and Rolinda districts until his death in 1921.
Mrs. Wilson was a member of the Westminster Presbyterian Church, the Fresno Chapter No. 295 of the Order of Eastern Star, and the local chapter of the American War Mothers.
She is survived by six sons, J.B. Wilson, a retired Fresno police officer, George M. Wilson, who with J.B., operates a local service station, Nathan J. Wilson of Lake Tahoe, and H.L. Wilson, Rueben Wilson and Harold T. Wilson, all of Fresno; two daughters, Mrs. Bessie Collins of Fresno, and Mrs. Sinthe Bollinger of Chowchilla; three sisters, Mrs. Etta Triplitt, Mrs. Ina Clark and Mrs. Alberta Pace, all of Fresno; a brother, Artie VanNoy of Fresno; 20 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted tomorrow at 3 PM in the chapel of hte Lisle Funeral Home with Rev. John B. Cavitt of the Westminter Church officiating. Interment will be in Belmont Memorial Park.
