Born on November 27, 1923, Albert was a U. S. Army veteran, and had been a laborer for Ingersoll Steel Mills. In August of 2005, he moved from Brandon, Mississippi to Abilene. He was a Baptist.
Mr. Lindsey was preceded in death by two wives, Delores Adams Lindsey in 1981 and Cinderella Lindsey in 2005, and four children, Steven, Maurice, Theresa and Gina Lindsey.
Survivors include three sons, Albert Adams of Brandon, Mississippi, Torrence Lindsey of Chicago, Illinois, and Christopher Lindsey of Abilene; two daughters, Cheryl Lindsey of Abilene and Maurine Marillo of Chicago; a sister, Margaret Thomas of Chicago; 23 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren.
