Marion Lee Cahoon
Funeral services for Miss Cahoon, daughter of Robert E. and Loraine Sorey Cahoon, of Saint Brides, Norfolk County, who died in a local hospital Thursday night, were conducted at the residence in Saint Brides yesterday afternoon at 2 o'clock.
The Rev. W.E. Richardson, pastor of the Indian Creek Church of Christ, officiated, and during the services, Mrs. L.R. Umphlett and Mrs. C.L. Jones sang "Asleep in Jesus" and "Jesus Loves Me".
The attendance was very large and there were many flowers; the casket being covered with white carnations and fern.
Pallbearers were Archie Sorey, Haywood Sorey, Clyde Sorey and Earnest Umphlett.
Interment was in the family plot at Cooper/Griffin Cemetery in Norfolk County.
