W. A. PRUDE, 78, of Memphis, retired Allstate Insurance agent, died of heart failure Sunday at Baptist Memorial Hospital East. Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Whitehaven Presbyterian Church, where he was an elder, with burial in Memorial Park. Memorial Park Funeral Home has charge. He was a World War II Army veteran.
Mr. Prude, the husband of Allene Prude, also leaves a daughter, Penny Brand, and a son, Bill Prude, both of Cordova; a sister, Mildred Baldwin of Memphis, and six grandchildren.
The family requests that memorials be sent to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or a charity of the donor's choice.
