Wade Anderson, 82, died Saturday, Nov. 22.
He was a resident of Barberton, Portage Lakes, Fairlawn and currently residing in Medina, Wade retired from the Ohio Brass with 40 years of service and worked for Kuppenheimer for four years. He thoroughly loved sports; Wade enjoyed softball, bowling, golf, waterskiing, hiking through the Metro Parks and Erie Canal and also enjoyed woodcarving.
Preceded in death by his parents, John and Miram Blanchard Anderson; brothers, Edgar, Brooks, Felix, Troy and Kay; sister, Frieda McCarthy; Wade is survived by his wife of 57 years, Margaret "Midge"; brother, Ralph; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends.
Funeral service wree held Wednesday at the Campfield-Hickman-Collier Funeral Home, 566 W. Park Ave. Burial will take place at Lakewood Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hattie Larlham, 9772 Diagonal Road, Mantua, OH 44255.
