VEGA - Maude "Meg" Johnson, 72, of Vega, died Wednesday, June 17, 1998.
Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. today at Memorial Park Cemetery in Vega with the Rev. James Peach, pastor of First Baptist Church of Vega, officiating. Arrangements are by Vega Funeral Home.
Mrs. Johnson was born in Maydelle, a twin to Pete Fennell #42550885 and was a homemaker.
Survivors include a son, Dennis Hall of Odessa; a daughter, Peggy L. Stapleton of Trinidad, Colo.; six sisters, Margie Tedford of Dallas, Jolly McKinley of Grants, N.M., Patsy Myers of Moriarty, N.M., Lucille Green of Laport, Calvena Donathon of Bullhead City and Lori Guinn of Dallas; four brothers, Ernest Fennell and Pete Fennell, both of Vernal, Utah, Grady Fennell of Dayton and Jessie Fennell of Moriarty; three stepsons, Billy Evans, Eddie Evans and Eugene Evans; a stepdaughter, Sherry Aishman; 18 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
Aunt Mac also listed on another gravestone, which was for Gene Evans 58187197 in Iraan, Texas, but she is not buried there, but in Vega. She was first married to Bill "Big Bill" Hall.
