Mrs. Goldie Mae Aldridge, 62, died Friday night at her residence in the Calvary community of Brantley County following a short illness.

A lifelong resident of Brantley County, she was a member of New Hope Advent Christian Church and was the widow of John "Mart" Aldridge. Her parents were the late Lawton Crews and Nollie Gunter Crews.

She is survived by a daughter, Lautrell Melton, Waycross; seven sons, Walter Aldridge, Morriston, Fla., Roy Alridge and Tarrell Aldridge, both of Vero Beach, Fla., James Aldridge, Williston, Fla., Aubrey Aldridge and Charlie Aldridge, both of Waycross; a sister, Jessie Cook, Wildwood, Fla., a brother, Ivey Crews, Waycross; 27 grandchildren,
