Body of Arthur F Cardy, of Chicago, is taken back overland
Arthur F Cardy, age 77, printer by trade, died Monday evening at 11:30 at Burlington Memorial Hospital. Mr Cardy's home has been in Chicago at 2002 Indiana Avenue, but had been spending the summer at a resort. Deceased's son, Dr A Cardy of Chicago was at his bedside when death came.
The body was brought to the Mealy Undertaking Home at Waterford where it was prepared for transportation via auto to Chicago. Harry Mealy, with Eldon Schenkenberg as funeral car driver delivered the body to that city on Tuesday afternoon.
